Pork Adobo Recipe

  • 2 lbs pork belly

  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced or crushed

  • 5 pieces dried bay leaves

  • 5 tbsp vinegar

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp whole pepper corn

  • 1 1/2 cup water

  • salt to taste

How To Cook Pork Adobo:
  1. In a bowl, place pork belly, then add soy sauce and garlic. Marinade for at least 1 hour.

  2. In a pot, put marinated pork belly, heat, then cook for a few minutes.

  3. Add water, whole pepper corn, and dried bay leaves then bring to a boil.

  4. Simmer for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

  5. Pour vinegar then simmer for another 12 to 15 minutes.

  6. Add salt to taste.
