Easy Adobong Tahong Recipe
1 lb tahong, cleaned and shell removed3 tbsp soy sauce2 tbsp white vinegar3 cloves garlic, crushed4 pcs dried bay leaves2 tbsp toasted garlic½ tbsp whole peppercornSalt, to taste2 tbsp cooking oil
HOW TO COOK:
Pour and heat the cooking oil in a cooking pot.Put- in the crushed garlic and whole peppercorn.Cook until the garlic turns light brown.Add- in the tahong.Stir and cook for 2 minutes.Add- in the bay leaves, soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of the toasted garlic.Let it boil and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.Add- in the vinegar and let the liquid reboil.Stir and then cook for 3 minutes.Add- in salt to taste.Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.Top with the remaining toasted garlic. Enjoy!
